As cassava is highly heterozygous, one or two generations of selfing releases the locked up genetic variability. By crossing the first and second generation inbred lines with the high yielding released variety Sree Visakham ( H-1687) large number of  high  yielding top cross hybrids could be produced. TCH-1, TCH-2, are proposed for release.
