ICAR-Central Tuber Crops Research Institute

The programme commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Sudheendhra, Agriculture Officer, Krishi Bhavan, Kollayil, and was inaugurated by Ms. Ambika, President, Kollayil Grama Panchayat. The programme was coordinated by Mr. D. T. Rejin, Senior Technician, ICAR-CTCRI, and Mr. Aswin Raj P., Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS), ICAR-CTCRI. A total of 66 farmers (45 male and 21 female) participated in the programme and benefited from the awareness sessions on sustainable agriculture and nutrient management practices. As part of the programme, vine cuttings of sweet potato variety ‘Sree Arun’, stem cuttings of cassava variety ‘Sree Vijaya’, and micronutrient formulations developed by ICAR-CTCRI were distributed to the participating farmers.
