ICAR-Central Tuber Crops Research Institute

Ms. Neema, Agricultural Officer, delivered the welcome address. Dr. Sheela Immanuel, Principal Scientist, ICAR-CTCRI, provided an overview of the programme and also briefed about the institute and its activities. Dr. S. Sunitha, Principal Scientist, ICAR-CTCRI, handled a session on the balanced use of fertilizers, emphasizing ways to enhance yield, reduce the cost of cultivation, and maintain soil health among the participants. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Prakash and Mr. Aswin Raj P. Planting materials namely sweet potato was distributed to the farmers. About 67 farmers participated in the programme.
