ICAR-Central Tuber Crops Research Institute

The Quality Council of India (QCI) and ICAR–Central Tuber Crops Research Institute (CTCRI), Thiruvananthapuram, jointly organized an awareness programme under Gunvatta Yatra on “NABL Accreditation for Testing and Calibration of Laboratories and its Benefits.”

The training programme was conducted by Dr. Bhumi Rajyaguru, Joint Director, NABL–QCI, who highlighted the importance of accreditation in enhancing laboratory quality, competence, and credibility.

The programme was inaugurated by Dr. G. Byju, Director, ICAR–CTCRI. Dr. T. Makeshkumar, Head, Division of Crop Protection & SIC–PME, ICAR–CTCRI, and Institute Coordinator for the programme, addressed the participants and emphasized the relevance of NABL accreditation in strengthening research and testing standards.

The programme contributed to building awareness on quality assurance and promoting excellence in laboratory services.
