ICAR-Central Tuber Crops Research Institute

ICAR-Central Tuber Crops Research Institute organized an awareness programme on ‘Understanding the POSH Act, 2013’ for permanent and temporary staff and students who joined the Institute after 01 January 2026. Dr. G. Byju, Director, highlighted the struggles and milestones in women's progress and emphasized the need for zero tolerance of sexual harassment at the workplace. The awareness talk was delivered by Dr. S. S. Veena, Presiding Officer, Internal Committee, followed by an interactive session with Dr. A. Asha Devi and Dr. B.G. Sangeetha, members of the Internal Committee. Thirty five participants attended the programme.
