Mr. S. Soundararadjane, CEO of HyFun Foods and Dr. Aswini Verma, Head of Seed Production, visited ICAR–CTCRI to explore research collaboration, particularly the development of sweet potato varieties suitable for French fries and other processed products.
HyFun Foods, a leading Indian frozen-food manufacturer and exporter headquartered in Gujarat, reported revenue of approximately ₹1,450 crore in FY 2025–26, exports to over 40 countries, and works with around 7,000 farmers, offering significant opportunities for industry–research collaboration in value addition and commercial processing.
