CTCRI has joined hands with the Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) and the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Department of Atomic Energy, Bhubaneswar, to combat micronutrient malnutrition in Keonjhar district, Odisha. The project, funded by the Government of Odisha (₹6.8 crore), focuses on developing and scaling up sweet potato and millet-based “Rainbow Diet” food matrices tailored to local food preferences. As part of the initiative, a Children and Adolescent Health Camp is being conducted today in the project villages. The camp will assess malnutrition through anthropometric measurements and micronutrient deficiencies through blood collection and testing. A team of doctors from KIMS is leading the medical responsibilities, while CTCRI and NISER are providing scientific and technical support. This collaborative effort marks a significant step toward nutritional security and improved health outcomes in the region. give suitable hashtags for the same
