ICAR-CTCRI signed a series of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) today to accelerate technology licensing and commercialisation.
M/s Semilon Technologies, Thiruvananthapuram, entered into an MoU for Contract Manufacturing of e-Crop, CTCRI’s smart farming IoT device designed to support precision and climate-smart agriculture.
Two more MoUs were signed for technology transfer of innovative tuber crop–based food products. M/s Banaanza Enterprises, Malappuram, and M/s Muruka Food Products, Changanacherry, partnered with CTCRI to scale production and marketing of value-added tuber-based foods.
The Director, CTCRI, exchanged the MoUs with representatives of the three firms at a function held on the Institute campus, which was attended by the Heads of Divisions and Sections as well as members of the Institute Technology Management Unit (ITMU).
