Inaugurating the programme, Dr. G. Byju, Director, ICAR–CTCRI, encouraged students to become job creators by leveraging technology, scientific knowledge, and sustainable agricultural innovations. The programme provided exposure to startup development, agribusiness incubation, digital agriculture, value addition, branding, and market linkages, while also highlighting opportunities in FPO-led enterprises, climate-resilient technologies, and government entrepreneurship schemes. A Business Plan Competition was also conducted, encouraging students to develop scalable and market-driven agritech solutions for the future of Indian agriculture.
