Harvest festival and interaction meeting with elephant foot yam (ചേന) farmers of Utchili village, Kovvur near Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh was inaugurated by Director Dr. G. Byju. Dr. D.V. Swami, Dr. K. Mamata and Dr. Sivakumar of RHRS, DrYSRHU, Kovvur and Dr. Koteswara Rao, Hort. Officer participated besides the farmers. Director also attended an interaction meeting with beneficiary farmers of SCSP project and distributed implements and inputs. Progress of work done by AICRPTC centres of Kovvur and Peddapuram was also reviewed .
