Khet Bachao Abhiyan programme on Soil health management and Balanced use of fertilizers was organized on 23 June 2026 by ICAR-CTCRI, Thiruvananthapuram in collaboration with KVK, Erode at Gobichettipalayam.
Dr. D. Jaganathan, Dr. R. Muthuraj and P. Prakash from ICAR-CTCRI handled sessions on Soil health management, organic farming and tuber crops based agrifood systems.

Sharing of farmers wisdom on organic farming and natural farming by Champion farmers, Scientist - Farmers interface, Exhibition and field visits were organized as part of the programme. Planting materials of cassava and training materials were distributed during the occasion.
A total of 184 participants attended the programme.
