ICAR-Central Tuber Crops Research Institute

The Director, along with a team of scientists — Dr. G. Suja, Dr. J. Sreekumar, and Dr. A.N. Jyothi — and Technical Assistant Mr. D.T. Rejin, visited Nellippettikuzhy Ooru, Marayur, where CTCRI is implementing a tuber crops development project under the AICRP on Tuber Crops (AICRPTC) Tribal Sub Plan.

During the visit, the team harvested the introduced varieties, assessed their field performance, and interacted with farmers to understand their feedback and experiences. Discussions were also held on future strategies to strengthen the tuber crops value chain in the region.
