The ICAR- CTCRI developed Elephant Foot Yam (Chena) Pradhaman Ada has been commercially launched under the Keralagro brand of the Department of Agriculture at a grand function held in Kollam. The launch was officiated by Sri Chittayam Gopakumar, Hon’ble Deputy Speaker of the Kerala Legislative Assembly. The event was presided over by Smt. Honey Benjamin, Hon’ble Mayor of Kollam.
This delightful, value-added product is brought to market by Harithalakshmi Krishikkoottam, an inspiring women’s Self Help Group (SHG) from Kollam, who obtained the license for this innovative technology from ICAR-CTCRI.
