ICAR-Central Tuber Crops Research Institute

ICAR–CTCRI, in collaboration with the State Institute for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (SIRD & PR), Odisha, is organising a State Exposure Visit from 8–12 December 2025.

The delegation comprises 33 elected representatives from Zila Parishad, Block Panchayat and Gram Panchayat, along with officials from Panchayati Raj institutions including CDOs, BDOs, and others. The team is accompanied by Sri Braja Kishore Panda, Faculty (Finance), SIRD & PR, who is the Nodal Officer for the programme.

The visit is designed to help the participants gain insights into Kerala’s agricultural systems, scope for crop diversification, and approaches to addressing climate change.

The programme also seeks to explore avenues for collaborative research with ICAR–CTCRI, particularly in areas where Odisha can benefit from advanced technologies and innovations in tropical root and tuber crops.
