Dr. G. Byju, Director, ICAR-Central Tuber Crops Research Institute , visited sweet potato cultivation sites in Attappadi, Palakkad, as part of the ongoing ‘Punarjeevanam’ project.This impactful project, being jointly implemented by ICAR-CTCRI and the Kerala State Kudumbashree Mission, aims to revive and strengthen sweet potato farming among tribal communities.During the visit, Dr. G. Byju interacted with local farmers, reviewed field progress, and encouraged sustainable, community-based farming practices for nutritional and economic upliftment.
